ANZAC Day – April 25th, 2010

by Gourmet Jack on April 24, 2010

They shall grow not old, as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them."
Lest we forget ...

This post is in remembrance of all veterans who served. Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, and is commemorated by both countries on 25 April every year to honour members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I. It now more broadly commemorates all those who died and served in military operations for their countries. Anzac Day is also observed in the Cook Islands, Niue, Samoa and Tonga.

An important requirement for ANZAC Day is your ANZAC Bikkys. It's not to late to get them ready.
