Wildflower Color Spreading

by Gourmet Jack on March 19, 2010

Just as predicted, the wildflowers are taking off here in Texas. The bluebonnets have matured to greater heights and are displaying subtle ranges of colors that can’t be seen form the passing car. Our local bluebonnet patches have been joined by stemless evening primroses. A beautiful, delicate, buttercup yellow flower that only emerges late in the day at sundown. All day, nothing to see here, move on. Sun starts to sink below the horizon, evening primroses every where.

Texas, It’s a whole ‘nother country y’all!
